Many people are shunning Spoons because of the treatment of workers during the pandemic. Rather than paying furlough, Tim Martin told workers to get a job at Tesco. I think that is the case in quite a few large companies: consumers are realigning their spending and realise how local anchoring is beneficial for their neighbourhood.

Might be worth going back and checking the facts on that statement. Never believe what the media tells you just because they said it is true. Read his opinion in context and see if you change your mind
