Wise decision,I think Chip will be the better investment in the long term :+1::grinning:

The share price doesnt tell anything per se. Its better to compare market cap, which in Plum case is 90m GBP pre-money, almost identical to Chip’s. I personally believe that Plum is a better choice, taking into account user growth, product offering, geographic expansion, management team and venture capital support. I have invested in both, but much larger portion to new Plum round.

I’ve got both Chip and Plum from early on. I don’t think it’s a case of one or the other. Rising ships and all that. Lots of money under management for both of them, attractive products, but feel like features rather than apps. Either way I see both of them exiting nicely in the future.

Just to let you know I have changed my mind and decided to invest in Plum , to see what happens in future.
It seems there is something others know that I don’t , seeing the interest.
I have now invested.

Please could some share the link? Tvm

Chip at £10m, Plum already at £4m after two hours. When Freetrade finally do their next raise they’re going to fry Crowdcube’s servers…

Edit: Thanks!

I watched Chip’s pitch video and I understood it as “you should invest in us because Revolut and Monzo are worth billions and we might be one day, too”…

This is not investing.

Completely agree. They are brilliant in marketing their own company as a investment, I give them this.

I, too, found that very odd last time round: “here’s what your investment would be worth if Chip’s valuation was the same as Revolut/Monzo/whatever.” Why not compare themselves to Microsoft or Tesla? I invested in early rounds, and glad to see growth and hype, but I won’t be participating again.
