Itās incredibly time consuming to add micro-cap stocks because of their poor liquidity. The more they add the more customer service will need to answer as to why trades are failing.
Then perhaps explain in the UI why a trade failed? Iāve had trades fail before on Freetrade and the experience isnāt great. I didnāt run to support as the reason they were failing was that the shares were popular and the MMs had very little stock to sell.

1 - by far) Desktop UI.
And not some minimalist effort pushed by web-designers focused on āaestheticsā, but plenty of Content in one view.
e.g. Share watch list, charts, selectable highlights (e.g. FX, Gold, Govt.Bond yields, whatever)
Plenty of colour to distinguish navigation, function, content (e.g. panels/areas)

Still not sure what the problem isā¦given that other platforms seem to have all REITs available.
Not remotely interested in Crypto.
What is Crypto backed by ???
(Ponzi / pyramid selling springs to mind.)
Agree with comments about improving the UK offering before going overseas.
But if foreign currency denominated shares are being offeredā¦
Surely FX tracking and reporting should be top-notch ?

Almost 2/3s of the year in now, but there has been some movement latelyā¦ Iād say 2/10 requests complete:
- Improved stock data
- Some movement on autopilot
It would be great if they could ship some quick wins like PMT levy and statements soon

REITS are available for ISAs now

I was going to say āGreatā¦ā, but āglass half emptyā.
i.e. 6 of my 10 (UK) REITs (in ISA elsewhere) are not listed by FT.
Just seen the News (13 days ago - (No email notice thoā)) on the thread UK REITs in ISAs.
And I still donāt understand this:
āPIDs paid into ISAs are tax exempt. Freetrade will reclaim the withholding tax and distribute to ISA holders approximately 30-60 days after the PID is paid.ā
Just checked my 10 REITs (elsewhere)
All divis paid - in full - on the relevant divi-date.
My wish list is as follows:
- An ETF to trade the VIX
- Short / inverse ETFs for Nasdaq and Russell - especially 2x or 3x leveraged
- The ability to place a buy stop order (which Iām still shocked doesnāt exist)

Sounds like a work around to me - for whatever reasons, Freetrade were unable to have REITS in ISAs. Now they can but the tax bit (which was surely the issue) will be paid at a later date. I can wait. Iām sure in time this will be improved.
My REITS in other brokers have the divis paid in full but Iām just happy that I can add to these holdings with small top ups in Freetrade in my ISA.

Oh, I forgotā¦
Average daily volume or some kind of volume metric - so new investors donāt unknowingly buy a stock thatās too thin to sell, or buy without realising the spread is so wide theyāll instantly take a 20% haircut.
Itāll make investing / trading safer for all.

An updated version of how to implement new stocks.
For instance at the moment we can add to the forum or submit via Google form which is reviewed every Friday. Or so it says?
So why do we have hundreds of stock requests which havenāt been added?
Why have the last 12 Iāve submitted via Google Form not been actioned? Despite being eligible to my knowledge.
FT are super silent on this, they provide no reason to why it isnāt added, nor do they respond when you ask them why itās not addedā¦ just silence?

Can you list off a few examples youāre thinking about? There are a range of reasons that we might not be able to add a stock - liquidity, market access etc. But there can also be some bad reasons - weāve overlooked one of the requests and we can make this right fairly swiftly!

I wonder if the downturn in the Crypto market has caused Freetrade to think twice about launching an exchange as previously they were keen not to ignore this area.
Source: this was talked about in the Zoom AMA meetings some time ago.
They havenāt got a licence yet, which I suspect is the hold up.

I have requested a couple of ācoreā ETFs several times this year. Would love to know if there is an easier way to track any stocks/ETFs that are work in progress.
