I’m thinking it is the financial times, but unsure and obviously can’t call in the shops to have a look.

Why? It’s a metric that changes faster than every second. Why would you want that printed somewhere?
It had a break down of each industry also, which was useful. I would like to see this once a month rather than daily and track a few companies.
There a lot of sources you can check for the Price-to-Earnings Ratio.
