Raspberry PI Holdings Plc - RPI - Share chat

Same here but something doesn’t seem quite right especially since there’s very little news

They just released both the pi500 and a pi monitor? In time for people to get them for their kids for xmas?

https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/raspberry-pi-500-and-raspberry-pi-monitor-on-sale-now/

Fantastic news! Hopefully they sell plenty

Yeah I just bought a RPi and a Crowview Note and am seriously considering getting the 500 and the monitor for xmas for the kids and keeping the note for myself for use with the my phone.

That good ? What’s so impressive ?

It is a full fledged computer for ~£200. Keyboard mouse power supply monitor the whole shebang. Seems more solidly built and has less cables than the display keyboard I got via elecrow (CrowView Note-All-in-One Portable Monitor, Phone-to-Laptop Device With Full-Featured Type-C, SBCs/Mini PC/PC/Game Console Compatibility)

Would also be something that would live on their desk, but I suspect they would need to not have it there full time to prevent the continual playing of games.

I think big institutional investors are getting interested now it’s above 1Bn market cap

It’s been added to S&P Global BMI Index, so funds tracking that will have had to buy

Back above six quid. Some good news on a disappointing morning. I might put a chunk of my profits from the Freetrade sale into this, depending on where we are when I get the money
