Would be useful to have the ability to search for all stocks on an exchange e.g. LON:
(list all stocks on LSE main) or AIM:
(list all stocks on the aim market)
I currently use the Freetrade googlesheet to do this

This is a tiny feature request, but it would be great if I could search for āaimā in the app, or even filter to all pennystocks (including non-UK).
It would be really handy to be able to search stocks by market, particularly AIM and micro-cap shares.
If you type in AIM to the search box it just lists everything beginning with A rather than a list of AIM listed stocks.
Yh, also by the different markets
Simple request but would make a big difference
Freetrade value their clean a simple design so to implement a change theyāll be looking for demand higher than 13 votes and 4 comments in 18 months.
Apple have stubbornly refused to change things that millions of people think would be good because it doesnāt fit into their over all design. In trying to please everyone companies have to be careful otherwise theyāll end up with a Dr Frankensteinās monster that no longer pleases anyone.
I definstly get that but surely their isnāt enough filters
Yes, I get the simplicity thing, but how complicated would it make it to either add a section or 3 in the area where is has a or which I see as rather spurious financial investment search criteria and the latter would be found by a text search anyway.
Or when you click Adding etc to the slider along with Etc.
The second suggestion would not make it look any less simple to use but add considerably useful functionality. Sliders could add lots more tools within :freetrade: without complicating the UI.
I completely buy everyoneās points, Iām not here to promote app stagnation but to provide a counter point and maybe help the debate form into clear requests. I have worked with design teams on a few projects large IT to understand their POV.
I for instance would like to see any further metric to be including into a new area that replaces the watchlist.
āMy-croscopeā (terrible name but I just came up with it)
Somewhere to take a stock and look a little deeper into its fundamentals. This would need to have the information the stats page of yahoo finance with a :freetrade: UI and links to explainer videos / pages. Eventually plus subscribers could get access to an AI scoring algorithm like simply Wall Street.
Yes, an investment explorer would be so useful. Maybe :freetrade: could create a stand-alone app available for :freetrade: :plus_: members specifically for investment discovery?
Capital.com have a separate app for investment education. :freetrade: could link an app to their database with various search capabilities exceeding :freetrade: functionality but leaving the app simple for beginners.
It is hard work searching through the LSE AIM directory, checking availability on :freetrade: then researching the company. There are 250 odd Stocks on AIM but not all of those Stocks are on :freetrade:
@Neilb to be honest some here seem to forget that Freetrade is an execution only broker service. And to be clear, a bargain at that.
What some of the requests here amount to is a request for a research service. Perhaps (some) people want a one stop service so that all their research needs are met - and they want it for free or close to free. And some people seem to have zero understanding of the costs associated with this let alone the subtle legal issues involved. And let us not forget the average AUM of the user here. They also donāt seem to understand that just because a stock is on the market it isnāt necessarily easy to buy or sell (as we see from time to time on this forum when people canāt sell or buy stock at the price they want).
Notwithstanding this, probably Freetrade will provide more info particularly when it come to the desktop version as the design constraints change and where it makes more sense to do research.
That wasnāt what I meant from my comment - What I saying is they have now released EU Stocks. Within the Discover ā āAll Securitiesā you can only search for US, UK, Stock ETFā¦
They should provide more Search Criteria just filter abit more aka EU Stock. This filter should also be applied within the choosing Sectors as well
Ok point taken. I wasnāt referring to your particular message though. It was just a general impression after reading every message in the thread.
