Iām too bothered in this instance, but this would be a great feature.
That is a massive administrative hassle though. None of the large brokers I have ever used bothered with offering these services to small investors.
I believe HL are, they will vote the way the majority advise them.
It would be a nice differentiating feature then, if there was some relatively simple way to vote in the app. Using a button or filling out a form, for example. Not sure what would be involved on the administrative side.

Iāve owned this stock since the beginning of 2019, thanks to buying in the dips my losses only come out to 0.67%. whereas the stock actually fell from 50p to 5.5p.
I took a punt and bought at 3.8p.
Did watch it yesterday and I figured the chances of it being voted into collapse by silly investors, who were angry at losing their life savings, I sold it and made a small profit.
Would have made the same profit again if Iād held until today but I was happy to make a small gain rather than risk losing it all

At the end I only gained 9%.
I bought more shares the day before yesterday, and today I have a small gain of 4%

If we are getting 0.055 per share from the takeover then Iāll make a small loss.
Wasnāt a big holding for me though, just something I would throw a bit into as a bit of a gamble.
edit: nvm, just did the maths and it looks like Iāll make a 2 quid profit.

When will the 5.5p per share be credited to our Freetrade accounts?
Donāt think itās due to be paid until 30th March, then Iād imagine Freetrade will need a few days to disseminate.
