Well i am holding it for the long term aswell just so much potential my aim is to hold for 10 years at least! I am just adding the odd £1 amount every now and again … hopefully it will still be there in 10years me included lol
10 years, such forward thinking that!
Well if you want a decent return for such a small company has to be probably longer… greggs was next to nothing before it went through the roof
Your completely right I’ve just never thought about holding shares for that long that’s all
I’m also in for the long hall I had the option to make a few £1000 easy profit a few weeks ago but I didn’t interest me. I knew like others have said I’m in for the time it has a chance to go big. I’ve done this with 20 other shares. A few have made me a lot of money and I’ve reinvested this in several other companies. I can never lose money now only not take the profit if I lose everything! I invest quite a lot in my stocks ISA in here and that’s down quite a bit so from what I’ve learnt it has to be the long hall and cash in 10-25 years down the line or when you really need it. But I don’t need it as it’s my spare money and a bit of fun along the way
Hi all. Been watching this thread for a while now and glad I did . Loads of usefully info in here. I’m fairly new to investments but I’ve invested a bit in tm1, literally since the day they appeared on the market. I don’t think I have any knowledge about this worth sharing so I’m just reading and learning. Thanks for that
Now you guys mentioned very long term plans and I was wondering not about security or the investment itself, but more about the freetrade application actually. What are the chances that this app will stop working in next few years? What if they just shut it down for whatever reason? How can we keep all those shares if there is no access to it? Do we get an option to transfer it someplace else?
Anyone thought about this or know the answers I would love to hear. Thank you .
Hi guys… been here over 18months… in and out, up and down. Bought back in very recently and already 20% down (im sure many of you are even worse)
We need this rto to happen asap and some revenu figures otherwise those numbers being thrown around LSE (0.50 - 0.65) are looking more and more realistic.
Come on Robin !!
Rant over !
Oh and we had a 250k daily seller for months but now who the hell is selling chuncks of 1.1M everyday ?? And more importantly, why ?
Remi we are covered by the FCA also the shares are yours not FT’s so if they went bust your shares are still yours. It would probably take a bit of time to sort out but your money / shares are safe. Depending on what you invested in. If like me it has been 3 years of get broke quick nothing can save you.
Long term is the way to go. Get rich quick schemes are generally anything but a way to get rich quick. Even though I know that’s true I can’t help myself but in 3 years I have bought some big companies and o am holding them for slow growth and dividends.
You need to tailor your investments to your situation. Keep your portfolio diverse don’t go all in then you can’t lose it all in a flash.
Good luck
Also while I have held TM1 for a while I got my average to a good place but the company keep issuing warrants and diluting the shares so now from making a bit and looking good I’m well in the hole. I have sold quite a bit and taken the loss. Still holding some and if it goes really well I’ll get most of my money back but I think that is unlikely.
Nice price this morning invested to bring my average down why not for a £150 stake right?
Good luck I hope you make on it.
Managed to brong my average down this morning by a point
Thanks. That clears it up a lot already. I am not expecting quick return on this or any other investment. Long term only. Especially with penny shares like tm1. I can cash it for few pounds but whats the point. It’s only logical that it will rise one day (excluding some extreme circumstances like nuclear war and such that would destroy the planet and all markets with it ) ev market is growing rapidly and those batteries won’t recycle themselves in the future. So I’m here for the long run.
Thank again
I cannot believe we are still awaiting news on this company
Just had the smallest of flutters (£10 worth) about the same as a coffee and cake would cost. Someone has to recycle all the spent lithium batteries from all the old EVs right? It might just not be until 2040 and I look like
I opted for the cheap cake only spent £5 hope everyone hss a great weekend
this is what we want, i think we all know its going to be a good 5-10 years before car batteries etc are going to need mass recycling so stock up now cos i bet my left bollock this will be a quid stock within the nxt 10 years, 10,000% isn’t unrealistic for a penny stock like this🤞
Buy buy buy! Another £250 from me as soon as my money is sent back to me from the treasury!
