Times for US trading

Hi all,

I know this is likely a stupid question but I have such an important trade to make I can’t even think clearly to see if I’ve tried before - can we in the UK only trade our US stocks during the UK opening hours? I’m trying to sell one of my US stocks but keep getting an error message. If so, I’m in for a stressful couple of hours until the US markets close…

Just try it. If it wont go through it will say execute at 3pm tomorrow. You can buy US stocks right now yep. I’ll bet you it will be down tomorrow though as markets are in the dive
