What metrics are common to use to gauge ones performance in the field?

Have a look at the insights section of the app (tap on the portfolio performance bar at the top). There are a couple rate of return stats that can help you track it.

Have a look at the time weighted rate of return, it tracks you against the an All World ETF, so ideally you should be doing better than that, if not you may as well just put all your money in the All world ETF.

Yeah, we’ll leave the All World ETF strategy until I’ve exhaused my Get Poor Quick strategy.
