Hi,
I’m UK based but have some US based stocks held in a Merrill Lynch broker account that was setup by an ex employer. The account is hard to use from the UK and I’m looking to transfer the stocks to another broker. Is freetrade suited to this?

Do you already have a freetrade account? I’d recommend first seeing if your stocks are available in the app. Then contact the friendly customer operations team in app to see what (if) they can do.
I’m only aware of ISA transfers at the moment
