I am struggling to enable 2FA in FT.
I have downloaded the Google Authentication app and its ready to go but don’t know how to generate the code to scan it.
Have logged on to web version of FT where it asks for my email address and then the password but then wants the 6 digit number which I don’t know how to generate it.
All I want to do is be able to transfer money from Basic to Standard version, without going through the bank account.

If you mean you want to transfer uninvested cash between your GIA and your ISA (or vice versa) then I don’t believe that’s currently possible, either in the app or the web portal (unless someone can confirm otherwise).
Your best bet is to raise a support request in-app and ask them to do it.
In the investment app it looks like there is a ‘transfer account’ option when you click on the profile icon (top right)
Not sure if that is the correct function, but I thought FT announced recently you could move money between GIAs and ISAs now.
You can transfer between account on the website now, the functionality in web app isn’t available yet
