Should I buy this stock ?
Hi
People shouldn’t give financial advice on this forum and you should definitely not take any financial advice from people on this forum.
Familiarise yourself with the asset and see if it fits your investing style and goals. There’s lot of threads about ETFs on here.
Thanks Seb. As you rightly point out, it’s against our community rules to provide investment recommendations.
Even when people ask for advice ?

The FTSE 100 has managed to stay level since the start of the year, while its counterpart across the Atlantic, the S&P 500, has seen a decline of 10%. The reason behind the two indexes’ different fortunes could be down to their respective constituents.

Can anyone tell me why anyone would invest into the Vanguard FTSE100 index fund over the Xtrackers?
On the face of it, the Xtrackers pays a dividend but the Vanguard doesn’t, is that it? What am I missing and why should I go for the Vanguard?
Hi, You should read up on accumulating vs. distributing ETFs. That’s the difference, costs are the same.
they are very similar @JamesWarrack
VUKG is an acc etf as @SebReitz pointed out
XUKX is an inc etf
The Vanguard etf will have been created by Vanguard for its massive low cost platform as it only offers its own products to its clients. This will also be why it is a much larger fund than the Xtracker (10x as big).
