In value ££, what’s everyone’s largest holding stock?
Bitcoin
Greatland gold
Polkadot
Ethereum
Ftse 100, S&P 500, world index
ITM power
Apple
Edit: Bitcoin is the biggest holding so far because it was my first investment in 2017 and has increased in value considerably but I am rebalancing little by little so that ETH and Polkadot will become my biggest holding in the future.
I have my pension & some ISA in VWRL.
Otherwise it’s these all about the same.
DIAGIO - So many great brands
APPLE - Giant and the skys the limit imo
AMAZON - AWS is a monster and I’d buy it if I could
AIRBNB - Well run and a huge moat competing against high over head legacy companies.
Edit - Reasons
Currently my top holdings in order of value are:
Cloudflare
Tesla
Glaxo
Palantir
No one holidaying is over 3k and hold 16 stocks in my ISA
What is your long term thoughts on PLTR @MaximoGF , I’ve steered clear because of meme stock feel and the lack of profitability. Am I wrong?
In monetary value, it’s Tesla for me, about 2
4 shares aha.
In number of shares, Helium One.
Intellia is now my largest after the great run it’s had this year
After that it’s Astazeneca, National Grid and Legal and General
3D systems was my largest for a while after a big increase, But I sold them and took profit.
Cloud flare - see holding it for ten years
A lot more risk averse than I used to be so approx 80 % of my holdings are in ETFs / funds now.
Amazon
National Grid
VW
the three biggest held in isolation ( discounting the constituents of the wrappers & company shares )
VWRL
Microsoft
Diageo
A certain unnamed American cinema chain. - obvious reasons, if things keep going the way they are, they won’t be my largest stock for long.
Wetherspoons - seemed a good idea at the time.
LSE - bought at the dip, seemed like something that must eventually go up.
Investec - I am a customer for my main shares and they charge me a fortune, so I get a chuckle when I get a dividend.
Greatland Gold - Ugh
LGEN 6.6k
V3AM 6.5k
VWRP 5.6k
AAPL 2.4k
Rio 2.3k
$T 1.8k
FXPO 1.8k
I am holding long. Meme stock only because it was promoted on Reddit by Wall Street bets in my opinion.
Great fundamentals, outstanding technology which is really only in its infancy.
Check out this guy on youtube, he does some good videos on the fundamentals etc.
ETH
Possibly soon to be taken over by Freetrade (depending on the raise).
Cardano 3£.8k
Palantir £1k
Hydrogen one capital growth £1k
Apple £800
Good Rx £700
Sold £3k pltr day before earnings after fearing the worst.
INRG (sadly) at around 10% of total portfolio.
Largest individual holding: Imperial Brands.
My top one is GSPX.
