free trade gave me price 0.0105 number of shares 228978
after confirm order freetrade charged me 0.0115 number of shares 210021
and they call free trade very nice
See on the buy screen where it says (est) with a little (i) button that if you click on explains how and why you’re presented with an estimate.
Also, the difference is likely to be affected by the bid/ask spread, as FT displays the middle value. especially for shares that cheap, they’re likely to be low volume and so the spread is often bigger. See here for more info about bid/ask:
