C&C Group plc CCR

This firm makes and distributes a wide range of beer, wine, and spirits, including Magners, Bulmers, Blackthorn, and Tennents Lager.

Pricing information on this seems to not update today. Still showing yesterday’s closing price.

Can we expect any support for the rights issue tomorrow morning?

I don’t think so.

That is really disappointing. C&c have been one of my long haul shares.

Is there somewhere where I can read about the reasoning? A short paragraph that doesn’t explain anything isn’t exactly satisfactory.

Not that I’m aware of.

It used to be supported until the back end of last year but not any more.

Someone else here may be able to share more information on this. Also worth contacting FT support to see if you get a better explanation.

Cheers

For anyone that might see this tomorrow morning (27/5/21) when the price changes.

C&C Group have announced a rights issue at 6/29 at 183p for existing holders in order to raise £151.1m.

From what I’ve been reading in these threads, Freetrade does not allow users to participate in this, more specifically they don’t allow.

That link isn’t very helpful its seems to be an issue of Freetrade not having an automated system to handle these events and there would be too many events to handle manually.

My wife asked for clarification from freetrade and was told they don’t support it. This could happen on any stock and is the reason I’m now on the waiting list for trading 212.

That is the strange/poor thing if it used to be supported and now isn’t  This to me is the worst thing about FT as it should be standard. I can handle the poor customer support issues as I put it down to busy/expanding, I know it isn’t an excuse but hey :joy:, but rights like this are the things people get really excited about.

I did have a mail that implied FT customers hadn’t actually missed out on anything yet but this does seem a concern especially with the PSTH stuff coming up as well.

Would be good for FT to clear the air with a statement and not that poor note on the blog, come on guys/gals prove the pro FT crowd right with some answers :stuck_out_tongue: :+1:
