Can anyone help me to see if I can get a UK Capital Gains Tax Report on Freetrade. Trading 212 generate a Report that summarises the CGT for the last tax year so I wanted to know if there is something that freetrade offer?
I asked on the chat and got an automated response that said there was an Activity Statement but it did not say how to generate it. All I can see on my account is an Annual Costs and Charges Report.
So i’m a little confused so any help would be appreciated.

We don’t currently calculate CGT in a report we just offer a consolidated tax certificate for income received. It’s not that common to get a CGT calculation done by your broker for a few reasons, not least because individuals can have gains or losses across multiple platforms on the same security that can make calculations challenging to generate accurately.
In the app, go To activity, set the filters to buy and sell and nothing else and then at the top right of the screen press the share icon which looks like an open box with an arrow out of it. You can then get a CSV file which open in your choice of spreadsheet to start manipulating your figures with. As the Freetrade response says any calculations they might do would only be valid if you don’t hold buy or sell the same security outside tax wrapper on any other platform.
Don’t forget about accumulation funds that automatically reinvested the dividend received.
