HI i have shates in LITHIUM AMERAS .
The company split into two seperate companies and if you owned shares in the company before split you were awarded equell number of shares in the new company.
Does anyone elsehold these shares.
The two seperate companies traded yesterday.
BUT MY account has stayed frozen due to corporate action.
HAS ANYONE else had this problem ?
I was holding some LAC on another platform and the shares have been split there now as well.
My LAC shares are currently showing as view-only, so not tradable for me.
The new LAAC shares are currently showing as buy-only, so not properly tradable for me either.
I expect this will sort itself out in a couple of days when the brokers have had time to handle the split.
Not got these but when I’ve had similar shares it takes about a week to sort itself out. FT is great for cheap trading but but this is why it’s not suitable for day traders.
