Sounds like a solid investment with long-life, low-cost assets. I’m curious about their future plans for growth and how they plan to stay competitive in the evolving energy market. Any insights on their strategy for the coming years?
Oakblokes substack has several pieces written about diversified if you want to read an opinion on it going forward I’m sure other people would disagree with his conclusions etc so use your own judgment.
Comfortably in 13 mark now. Next stop 14. I wonder if we will see a dividend increase? At these prices Buybacks are a bad call.
£28.18 was the previous peak. So not sure buy backs would be a bad call.
Personally paying down debt looks the best call.
That way Rusty can be ready for the next big purchase!!
A slow and steady increase to £20 (£1 a share in pre consolidation terms) would be my hope with a decent div every quarter as the cherry on top.
That would be amazing, but can we wait until after the dividend is paid :). I’m currently averaging about 15.50 at the moment hopefully I can get that a little lower.

Henry hub natural gas prices going in the right direction as is DEC share price
I assume the above view will disappear from the site so a copy and paste
“US natural gas futures rose further to over $3.7 per MMBtu, the highest in over one year, as bets of stronger global LNG demand magnified the outlook of higher domestic consumption. Fresh forecasts of a cold front in the US halfway through January drove the industry to raise demand forecasts by 18 billion cubic feet into the weekend. This coincided with data from the EIA showing that gas storage fell by over 100bcf for the second straight week, deepening the anticipated start to the withdrawal season. In turn, the decreasing likelihood that Europe will continue to receive Russian gas through Ukraine drove investors to take long LNG positions as EU members search for alternative gas sources. This raises demand for US LNG at the turn of the US presidency, with President-elect Trump pledging to issue more LNG export permits, driving firms to favor more profitable exports instead of cheaper gas sales domestically due to the ample domestic supply.”
Happy dividend payment day for yesterday all. I wonder if we will get the funds before new year?
Which New Year!
Oak Bloke continuing his love story of DEC
Dividend received today.
Excellent I will buy some more shares tommorow. It’s a shame I couldn’t get them under 13 but hey go.
Bought another 4 at 13.17, and it’s gone back up again happy days. Here’s hoping for 14 before the end of January?
Here’s to continued share price increases and bountiful dividends is 2025
Another good day for DEC I’m glad I bought another 4 shares when I got the chance. Another few days like this and I will be back in green again
I went 3% green on share price today, looking back I got a share at 8.43 1st october and have more than doubled my share holding since the consolidation. Averaging down does work sometimes.
Interesting move after hours on the US market.
Reaching $18.72 which is around £15.12 in real money
It will be interesting where it opens here tomorrow.
