How it will work:

The League

In a league with classic scoring, teams are ranked based on their total points in the game. You can join our league with classic scoring at any point during the season.

The Cup

A League Cup will also be created for those who join your Invitational Classic Leagues. The League Cups will start in the second half of the season dependent on the size of the league and will conclude in Gameweek 38.

How the cup works

Each qualifying team will be randomly drawn against another in the first round. The winner (the team with the highest Gameweek score minus any transfer points), will progress to the second round and another random draw, the losers are out! This process continues until the final round when the two remaining teams contest the cup final.

If a cup match is drawn, then the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found:

  1. Most goals scored in the Gameweek
  2. Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek
  3. Virtual coin toss

Prize Swag:

1st Place: The whole cat and caboodle - A Freetrade hoodie, Freetrade Tee, Freetrade socks and whatever else we can lay our hands on.

2nd Place: Choice - Either a Freetrade hoodie or a Freetrade Tee

3rd Place: Socks - one pair of Freetrade socks

I’ve been made to and hence followed football avidly for the whole of my life - which means @NeilB and @Emmie will almost certainly 100% kick my ass! Being a massive dufus, is there something I’m missing in the link to connect it to the Freetrade fantasy football thingy?!

I think you just click the link and sign up. It seems to have worked for me, no idea what I’m doing or who any of the players are but can’t miss out on the chance to win a hoodie.

As I’ve done this fantasy for years it’s getting harder and harder but I did will a league cup last year :joy:

Ps I actually got my hoodie from October competition last year, got in may when it was red hot :fire::joy:
