I think you abit late to the Party
Lol… always… fashionably so…
Regards,
Gareth
Always good to see the team being asked for opinion by the mainstream press:
Happy New Year all and best wishes for 2023!
Interesting appointment.
“…as Freetrade enters its next stage of growth” - PR fluff or hint?
Absolute fantastic news,onwards and upwards
Does anyone know if this freetrade email is legit from cap desk? Asking me to sign in and accept my shares etc and to view the progress of my shares with Freetrade?
If it’s from a genuine Capdesk email address, it’s probably legit.
That’s excellent news; genuinely reassuring to see such an experienced NED appointment. Next stage of growth likely referring to European ramp up?
Received the same email.
Same here
I’ve not received anything similar. You blocked out the from address on the email which usually helps to identify if it’s genuine.
I doubt scammers would impersonate someone like capdesk, but you never know.
No nothing blocked that’s my email that’s blocked and my name, also scammers can and will impersonate anyone that’s the perk of being a scammer
I know they sent an email in march last year after round 7. Perhaps if you didn’t sign up to capdesk at that point, that email is a reminder?
Received the email as well. I wonder if freetrade team can confirm this for us.
Hi all,
The e-mail is legitimate. We use Capdesk to manage shareholdings for our crowdfunding investors.
It appears that Capdesk updated their systems and this has caused some issues. It’s possible that these emails came as a result of this. We’ve contacted Capdesk to confirm.
Edit: when I logged into my account this morning, this message was displayed at the top. They also had a message about access being reported as slow/unavailable.
2 posts were merged into an existing topic: Freetrade shares not in capdesk
Freetrade is mentioned a lot in this article but excluded from the comparison tables in the article because Freetrade offer shares and ETFs but doesn’t offer funds.
@saf they ask to register to read.
Yeah, sorry, it’s how The Times operate. You can read it free if you signup… just use a alternative email address if you are really opposed to giving them your daily email address.
