Yep. I’m getting lots of ads for them.
Did anyone receive their money?
Still nothing. I was paid on another exit two months ago so there should not be any issues regarding AML.
Hi @acamp Just received a response from CC , they are blaming Freetrade for the delay in passing over the list of investors who are due to be paid. They advise that they requested 4 weeks notice and only received 7 days between receiving a list of eligible investors and receiving funds. Could you confirm this is correct please.
Shambles
Hi @Dashriprock let me look into this. Can you share (via DM or here) the response you got from CC please.
Hi Alex,
Please don’t waste your time looking into what Crowdcube said. Could you just contact them directly and help us get our money?
Thanks,
All parties involved in this transaction had and continue to have a duty to carry out their responsibilities with due skill, care, and diligence.
I have been deprived of the use of my funds and am seeking the immediate return of my funds, along with compensation calculated at the Bank of England base rate plus 8% for the period I was deprived access.
I lost an opportunity to invest, shame on both FT and CC.
Shit show from start to end
@lizmcp sure but if you were paid 2 weeks earlier, that fund could have gone down 20%. I’m also frustrated by the delay but you’re reaching a bit with that lol
Are you able to update us @acamp as CC, for many of us, will not engage? As a lawyer working in financial services this whole episode has been dire; the behaviour of CC falls well below what is acceptable. I will be taking this to the FOS, mainly with respect to CC’s contemptible treatment of its clients and their clients’ monies.
Any ETA on when CC will finally release “our” monies would be appreciated. Thank you.
Seems we’ve missed the bottom of this dip, Although I was going to put most of it it in something safer like treasuries, I reckon it won’t be long till the next Trump inflicted crisis though.
Lets hope we can have a pint by Friday lunchtime!
No doubt they’ll try and string it out until after the bank holiday
Did anyone get SumSub identity verification request from Crowdcube?
First time they’ve ever done this, and I’ve been a Crowdcube user since 2016.
Nope , never heard of it.
Was this the request for anti-money laundering where you had to upload id and bill with address?
If yes then I also had to do this, hopefully it’s a good sign that they are progressing my payment.
Yes it was that, the questions were a bit dumbly worded and it crashed a bunch of times for me.
