On the free shares: fund into ISA or GIA?

Hi

To get a free share, does my friend (and/or myself) have to fund his/her GIA account or the ISA account?

Hi, sorry for the delay.

They can fund in either account, and the free share will arrive in their GIA (for tax-related reasons, we can’t add these to your ISA).
