Hey, it was indeed Alex’s last day today, which is why his account isn’t active. He was an important part of the early days of Freetrade, thanks to his role in founding the community. He’s now moved on to explore new opportunities and we wish him all the best.

I saw that Glencore is categorised as ‘Finance’, which is imho not accurate. ‘Mining’ would be much more fitting.
Besides that, I actually really like the feature. Once fractional shares have been introduced, this can be perfectly used to generate your own topical etf without annual costs (TER).

Agree funds do not necessarily need to be in the sectors. But will you be adding all the stocks into sectors? Noticed a few such as FedEx and BA Tobacco aren’t in sectors.
I like a whole load of customisation options of my workspace, so was wondering if there going to be a way in the future to toggle certain views on/off so that it doesn’t get too clustered.
Maybe even adding stocks to your own watchlist/category. That would be nice

@jani a watchlist, as proposed by @SimasZ, would be helpful. MacOS has had this feature in the right-hand side bar parsing data from yahooFinance:

You can also use Yahoo Finance or apps such as Investing.com for having a watchlist (it’s also useful as it pulls news for the watchlist from multiple sources).

Just uploaded too and I’ve got it. I must say your designers have out done themselves on the colours 
edit: Just thought, it really helps beginners with first few days with the app. Especially when it ties in with the weekend reads i.e mining

I signed up about a week ago and still don’t have the sectors tab 
I just filled out the form again in case I messed it up last time.
