Triggered Buy Orders

I have a question:

When using a triggered buy order, will it fire immediately if the trigger price is ABOVE the current price?

For example, if the current price is $20 and I place a triggered buy with a price of $25 - will it wait until the prices hits $25 before executing (similar to a buy-stop)?
