Can't top up

Hi there,

I’ve been trying to top up my freetrade account using the funds from my Nationwide account. I have tried through the banking app and Google Chrome (both on my phone), however an error keeps showing. Has anyone encountered this before? Have tried multiple times and sure how to get around this (I’m new to the app, so sorry if I’ve missed something obvious).

Hi @Rman23 welcome to the community!

You can manually send money from your bank account and use the specific reference for the payment in the reference field.

The type of payment you are trying is not supported by all banks (but I can’t comment if Nationwide is one of these).

Try the manual way first, this verifies your account. Or maybe the in-app chat can help?

My friend is with nationwide, and it worked perfectly for him
