Is there a complaint team or a contact number, i’m having severe difficulties getting my bank account verified (i’m with a small building society which uses third parties to transfer money). Which means that although they’ve taken the deposit from google pay i have no way of getting it back. Genuinely considering taking this to trading standards/ trade ombudsman

Sorry for the delay in getting your deposit back. I can see the team has prioritised your chat from today, and I’ve escalated to one of our customer service managers so we can get this sorted urgently.

Sounds like more of an issue with your Building Society than FT.
