When you are approaching 1.5 million registered users, pretty much who are all based in the UK i think might go somewhere towards it.
Apologies, just realised I posted this in the wrong thread. Was meant for Freetrade competitors.
That’s interesting that Public are leaving so soon! I barely heard anything about them being live in the UK though.
We’ve heard before this metric shows the level of advertisement, FT will have cut back as they focus more on profitability. Chip’s a company which focussed on Profitability and then subsequently growth as the market improved for them, I’m hoping something similar happens.
FT have consistently been beating the newer apps which don’t make the top 200 whenever I seem to look (and today), I suspect it has higher UK downloads than Shares/LY combined even being around 100.
Always good to see Freetrade in mainstream press (Daily Mail) in best buy/save lists:

That’s good. I think they did say (and I have seen) that they are advertising more recently. there transfer process is actually pretty streamlined, I had no issues. the current offer is quite good as well especially if you have a large isa or sipp to transfer
pretty good coverage of the various world index funds in that video as well, worth a watch
They’ve clearly fixed the issues they had a while back and automated parts of the process. Makes sense given they’re advertising and have promotitions on for transfers. I transferred an ISA in under two weeks over Christmas including the 2-3 bank holidays!
0.35 percent custody fee, funny how they say these articles are fact checked.
