Hi there! 1st time investing here. A noobish question, but I found that historical data on Freetrade don’t seem to match say the ones on Google. e.g. Rightmove (RMV, see below), Chi-Med (HCM) and Dominoes (DOM)
Can anyone help to clarify? Thanks!
Google’s chart is adjusted for stock splits, which Freetrade doesn’t do yet.
Rightmove split 10:1 in August 2018. The drop you see is because the price of one share dropped from £49.00 to £4.90, but what it doesn’t show is that every shareholder had ten times as many shares the next day so there was no change in value.
