This is not funny any more.
I just got upgraded this weekend, received the notification an hour ago. So the FT team is making progress. It is a bit frustrating when they donāt hit deadlines but letās be a bit patient!
Iāve been notified that I was updated over the weekend too. I havenāt spotted anything different within the app and so I am assuming that itās the back end (engine & plumbing) that had the upgrade, and that Iāll see the benefit of that over the coming months when new features start being rolled out again.
Onwards & upwards.
Matt
Invest is a backend upgrade. You wont notice anything different within the app apart from a potential increase in speed and instant payments.
Have been upgraded as well, order execution is much faster and smoother
Sooooā¦ dare we say itā¦? Is everyone upgraded now??
Sent my proof of address hopefully and (finally) get signed up tomorrow. I hope I can refer straight away. Iāll post my number in the thread
I really donāt knowā¦ havenāt had a notification. Switching between my ISA and GIA account is still sluggish.

Have I done well? Or is there a glitch in the Matrix?
(edit) Was a glitch in the Matrix. Back to reality.
Do you hold either ITM or Boohoo by chance? Iāve got a similar improvement/glitch down to those 2 stocks up 10,000% and 1,600%
FeverTree also up +300% - must be an AIM issue?
Thatās interesting. Wonder what happened this morning to trigger this.
Happened for a FTSE 250 share for me as well as AIM.
Itās come crashing back down again. There goes all my gains
Just need some new features and plenty more stocks. Good job
If youāre being served Trading 212 and eToro ads on your probably already adtech fingerprinted browser/device, it may be because youāre spending a lot of time on community.freetrade.io. You donāt have to be a webdev to find out using a free search engine that freetrade.io uses tech such as Facebook (Connect widgets), Google Analytics, Twitter Bootstrap (framework), Google Fonts API, Google Tag Manager, TrustPilot (widget), Doubleclick (Google), Hotjar (behaviour analytics). The Community uses google-analytics.
FT also seems to be using Cloudfront and Cloudflare:
Itās simpler than that, the adverts target people following certain accounts on Twitter and people who watch certain types of YouTube videos. But just throw a Adblocker in or use a browser like Brave and it all goes away.
I use Brace and Proton VPN. Blocks most stuff, but doesnāt stop finger printing.
