I’m currently in the process of moving my Freetrade ISA over to another provider and I’m being asked for my ‘ISA reference’ with Freetrade. Does anyone happen to know where I can find this in the app?
I have dropped Freetrade an email, but the response I received advised they aim to get back to me within 3 working days, which I appreciate is likely right now due to them probably dealing with lots of other stuff and queries relating to the new tax year.
I’m normally really patient and happy to help, but I’d rather minimise the amount of time my cash isn’t being invested, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
I’m not certain, but it’ll probably be your Freetrade user number, which you’ll find at the top below your name when you tap on the profile icon in the app.
I don’t think it’s that one. It’s more likely to be reference number you use when you top up the account (the string of letters and numbers), those are unique between the GIA and ISA.
Good point. I figured FT staff could work it out upon receiving the transfer request using the user number because it’s an ISA transfer, but that reference number is much better!
Support ended up getting back to me and that was the one! Could no longer see it in the app because of the TrueLayer integration, but just now after seeing your comment I checked my bank account transactions and it matched
Any other ideas team on how to find the ISA account reference number? Checked app, banking app, desktop banking, and even when I top up my FT account. Nothing
