I transferred my deposit into my account on Thursday 28th and I still haven’t received it into my Freetrade account, yet it has came out of my bank account. I appreciate it’s probably a very busy time. Can anyone help me with this?
Just a few things to check:
- If you have an ISA then you can flick between the GIA and ISA to see if the funds are there
- Did you copy the reference from Freetrade to your bank correctly?
- Did you use your linked bank account?
Your money is not lost but based on the answers to the above we might be able to help you understand what’s going on
Thanks for the quick reply. I do not have a gia or isa account unfortunately, all I did was link my bank account to Freetrade and used that. And I must have as it has came out of my account with Freetrade as the reference. Hope that answers your questions.
You would have a GIA account as standard when signing up.
The reference used to transfer your money from your bank to Freetrade is unique to your account. It sounds as if you used the open banking integration so all details should be correct.
If you haven’t already then open an in app chat with support by clicking the profile icon on the top right of your app and scrolling down to Help & Support.
I have also had this issue, is there any way I can be helped also?
Iv tried several times with the chats and haven’t got a response. Just getting a little worried as iv tried emailing aswell, and haven’t got a response on there either.
I know it’s incredibly frustrating. Hope it gets sorted ASAP.
