Problem: Top up Instant Transfer changes

we used to be able to top up directly from our registered bank accounts into Freetrade.

Today I tried, and I saw this was no longer possible.

There is no instant transfer option available. The only option is to go onto your bank account and manually make a transfer into Freetrade which is incredibly cumbersome.

Additionally the Freetrade unique reference ID cannot be copied, because the copy button doesn’t work on iOS 17.7 which is clearly a problem with the Freetrade app.

My only option is with Apple Pay, but this is far from ideal given that there is a limit.

The new process does work.

It was just a surprise before my morning coffee.

There ought to be some notice when one clicks on the Copy icon saying “Text copied” or similar. I clicked and thought nothing had been copied.

Otherwise, nothing to see here. Move on.

I’ve still got the option of instant bank transfer. Is it something related to your bank maybe?

Used to work. My bank is [removed].

Same the instant transfer from the app is still available here (latest version of app on IOS)

side note, where did you find the account details in the app?

The account details was not there before.
I noticed this new process today.

Withdrawals is still the same process.

Can you give this another try when you have a chance. We’ve just made a few small tweaks to this and you should be able to top up as normal again.

Hi,
I just did an update of the app, and instant transfer is back.

Although I did not mind the bank transfer. Will a bank tranfer still work if I use the correct reference number? Always nice to have a back up :slight_smile:
