Any plans for silver juniors ETF?

I see the GJGB is a mix of gold and silver.

Some really good additions in here, especially the uranium, copper and KWBP ETFs, alongside the GJGB.

Some great additions which will give customers more choice.

I’m pleased to see GLTL added as there was previously no long UK gov’t bond fund on FT. Shame SGLP didn’t make the cut too, but hey ho.

What are peoples thoughts about this vs VWRL/VWRP (FTSE All World)?

PSRW has a higher TER at 0.39% vs VWRL @ 0.22%, so I wonder what the RAFI allocation VS weight allocation differences would be. VWRL is still quite tech heavy so I’m thinking that PSRW might be a little ‘safer’.

Hi @rocklobster VWRL is based on the FTSE All World index which is a straight forward market-capitalisation index.

The RAFI index has a 4 factor tilt to its underlying methods (sales, cash flow, dividends, book value). I think of it as a multi faceted value index. In the current climate I like this and hold a lot in my SIPP elsewhere. It’s up circa 1% YTD.

Over all time scales 3 years and shorter, PSRW has outperformed VWRL. The latter was stronger in the longer term (5 years and 10 years).

Hey Eden! Had a question about your request specific to L&G ETFs.
Most of these have very similar returns to those offered by iShares or any of the other providers. For eg So why do you prefer L&G over others? For eg LGEG has alternatives like VERG.

There’s a couple of main reasons I think offering multiple ETF options is a benefit to the customer.

In many cases there’s different expense ratios. Though LGEG in this case is about the same as the vanguard equivalent, I’ve found that a number of L&G options are slightly cheaper than vanguard or iShares.

The other benefit imo is the availability of choice. Vanguard and Blackrock (iShares) are massive, almost verging on monopolies. They have huge sway because of the concentration of money within their two companies.

Offering alternatives, even if it might be small in the grand scheme of things with Freetrade (for now), allow people to choose who to give their money to. As ultimately these companies are pushing policy decisions onto companies that may or may not align with investors goals so more options allows us to place our money where we are comfortable having it managed.

More choice → always good for the investor.

Plus L&G ETFs fall under your standard plan so give a larger selection of alternative ETFs for paying customers

I also like L&G as a company, so given the choice, I’d rather give them my money, especially if it might be cheaper

Agree with the more choice = better point - especially if the number of choices is limited to 3-4.
I wanted to understand if people have their own preference for ETF providers. Looks like they do and it makes sense!

I agree with everything @Eden has said RE L&G.

I hold 6 L&G ETFs, 3 L&G funds & of course L&G itself.

I think they are good value. It would be good to have ‘a full set’ available along with the L&G dividend ETFs.
