With the financial year just over I imagine some of us will want to make sure we haven’t exceeded any allowances, or have the right amount of we have. I think exporting to CSV would hopefully be the easiest way to get all the data as it could just be done on device.
With that we could atleast import it into Excell to run our own checks, or even create a specific tool from it!
and ideally include a breakdown of any dividends pay (the monthly ones don’t currently include this information), both the cash ones distributed to the GIA / ISA, but also the ones that are directly re-invested into the funds themselves. for future benefit , year on year comparison of portfolio/ divided progress.
Hi @Jim_mcgrain@Rcllondon - we are starting with iOS but will follow with Android. We are choosing to not build iOS and Android in parallel so that we can get it out as soon as possible to customers but rest assured Android will follow after.
Any movement on this feature? Typing this information out into a spreadsheet whilst I hold my phone in my hand to track tax obligations makes me feel like an animal.
Hi @thomasknowles - thank you for your patience on this one. We were pulled onto other priorities for a few weeks but the team is back focussing on finishing off this feature. I will post an update again sooner to release on further details about the feature.
Quick update on the Activity Feed download (CSV) today. We are getting close to launching on iOS (Android to come next) and wanted to get some feedback on the CSV format from the community.
Questions that will help us shape the feature:
Do the CSV header names clear and make sense?
Is there anything else you would expect to see in the download?
Any other feedback is welcome
Please see an excerpt below (note this is just a sample from the team) →
I would like to see clear markers for Dividend in the form of shares and Dividend in the form of Cash. I would also like to see an entry related to distribution of funds related to Scrip offers (distinct from Dividend). I note that some people who received the WISE offer commented that they received no notification in their feed. I don’t know if this is true or not - but regardless please make sure the Activity feed records the receipt of such bonus shares.
For tax purposes this document is missing information on accumulation funds. When a Fund accumulates you need to indicate it. It is an event significant for tax purposes.
It is good that you are indicating the ISIN. This is perfect and unambiguous.
